i bought this for an exam with restrictions about what kind of calculator I could have … in my prep work I noticed a few times that button presses weren’t registering on the screen (might also have explained some of my answers ;-() … but as luck would have it in the exam it was happening OFTEN … I was on the alert for it though so it might have always been the case. My fingers were feeling the “click” though ;-( Anyway … a calculator that can’t be relied upon to register button presses is USELESS!

All the scientific functions, all the quality, no batteries, works in low light, and very well priced. I never use anything but this calculator, which can even tolerate semesters of chalk dust. I have purchased several of these and am very protective of those I take to class. Highly recommended.

I like the Casio FX-260 Solar Scientific Calculator, it fits in my shirt pocket and needs no batteries. However, the previous one (same exact model) that I purchased was a little thinner.

I got this to replace an older Casio I’ve been using for nearly two decades until it finally gave up. I work in a laboratory, so it was well used, dropped, dripped on… Because it lasted so long, I got the same brand. So far, I like this new one even more. It’s sturdy, good-sized buttons & a nice sliding lid. I use it only for simple calculations, so I don’t use the function buttons much.
